My first time trying these stuffed mushrooms, I was a bit skeptical. The creaminess of the cream cheese, the aroma and flavors from the spices, and the slight crunch from the perfectly cooked mushrooms… I was won over! Now, I would dare say these stuffed mushrooms are better than pizza. See for yourself!
Stuffed mushrooms makes for a great snack or side dish, and they are so quick and easy to make!
Ingredients:
12-15 mushrooms (white button or baby bella)
2/3 cup cream cheese
1 1/2 tsp dried basil (finely crushed)
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Pinch of salt to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp chilli flakes (finely crushed)
1 tbsp evaporated milk
To prepare the mushrooms, I gently was and towel dry each. Then remove the mushroom gils from inside the mushroom cap to take away some of the earthy flavor.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 15-20 minutes, or until slightly golden.
