Cinnamon Snickerdoodles

Snickerdoodles

These cinnamon snickerdoodle cookies are a perfect snack for the whole family! They are the perfect balance of sweet and crunchy, best enjoyed with a tall glass of milk or coffee.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup cream cheese

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

3/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp grated nutmeg

4 tbsp almond meal (or substitute 4 tbsp flour)

1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

1 tbsp cinnamon (or more if desired)

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1/4 tsp grated nutmeg

Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes.

*Be sure to refrigerate the rolled dough for at least 2 hours so the snickerdoodles will not spread too much while baking.

*Try adding some pumpkin spice or some coffee to the dough for different flavors!

*Recipe makes 14 – 20 snickerdoodles, depending on the size of the scoop you use. I use 2 tbsp per scoop.
