This recipe makes 12-15 puff shells, and left over shells keep well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Choux Pastry
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1/2 cup unsalted butter
Pinch salt
1 cup water
4 medium eggs (roughly 1 cup)
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Cheese filling:
1/2 cup finely grated cheese
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1/2 tsp grated garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tsp evaporated milk
Chicken filling:
1 1/2 cup cooked chicken, finely shredded or chopped
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp grated garlic (or more to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp evaporated milk
